Welcome to Padova for the International Qwan Ki Do Federation World Championship!

We are very happy to welcome you!

Who are we?

We are a team of volunteers from the Alliance Française of Padua and a team of young language mediators from CIELS University Institute of Padua. We are working together to welcome you at Kioene Arena and to give you the opportunity to visit Padua on Saturday 23rd and Sunday 24th April from 11 a.m to 5 p.m.

You’ll find us in the cool STAFF T-shirts from Saturday morning at Kioene Arena and at various locations around the city to help you discover it.

The young athletes will find in their sports bag a map of the city that will allow them to visit for free a magnificent palace: The Palace of Reason (il Palazzo della Ragione).

You can already prepare your tour thanks to the map we offer in French, Italian or English.

On the map you will find:

red dots, which indicate the places where some of our volunteers will be happy to talk to you about the city! We look forward to seeing you there!

purple dots, which indicate the places inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List (there are 9 of them!)

yellow dots, which are on other very important places that you need to know!

The star/asterisk indicates that admission is charged.

Here you will find a presentation of the different places of interests.

The timetable for the city bus from/to Kioene Arena will be published as soon as possible. You can contact us to find out how to get to the city centre with your bus.

Please note that for the visit to the Scrovegni Chapel, which you will do on your own, the visits must be booked and paid for at least 48 hours in advance, directly on the site.
